Intermediate piano solo arrangement. Lately, I have been working on arrangements of songs I consider important — either in the way they touch listeners or in their musical depth. This arrangement reflects that intention.

A Chopinesque remix of Bach's Prelude in C Minor (BWV 999). The left hand carries the complete prelude while a furious, stormy melody soars in the right hand — 3 against 2 rhythms, 11 against 4 flourishes, double-note passages, trills, and ornaments. A challenging showpiece for the advanced pianist.

Theme from Handel's Suite in D minor, HWV 437 — the Sarabande. Variation 1 turns it into a moody 3/4 waltz with rubato. Each variation builds on Handel's glorious harmonies with fresh contemporary treatment.
